Unleashing the Power of Mindfulness: A Guide to Unlock Your Winning Potential
When you have many dreams, it feels like you can accomplish each one of them. You may believe that if you put in the effort, you can be a writer, podcaster, investor, and more. However, there’s a difference between thinking and doing. While everyone has aspirations and tries to pursue them, it’s the consistency that we often fall short on.
In early 2022, I had an idea to restart my daily writing habit, but like many other goals, this one also didn’t come to fruition due to various reasons. One of them was my excessive reliance on my brain to process information in real-time, leaving me without a framework for the things I wanted to do. However, this year, I made a change. I created a life planner using Notion, which helped me stay mindful of my goals and take action to achieve them. Within a month, I set up this blog, and I’ve been documenting every change I make in the life planner on Notion. I also discovered a wonderful tool called Obsidian, which I’ve started using to link my thoughts, and it’s been phenomenal.
Yesterday, I heard a podcast guest mention that the world would be so different if everyone did what they say they will. This resonated with me, as I often hear people saying they want to do something, followed by a “but.” I had a college teacher that writing down your goals and sticking them to the wall can help you achieve great things. It will replace “but” with “and”. I want to start writing and I have set up a website towards that objective.
Regardless of your method, the key is to be mindful of your thoughts and actions. It’s only through diligence and thoughtfulness that we can turn ideas into actions. I’ve also learned about the importance of having an “Action Bias,” or prioritizing action over perfection. I’d rather do something I love imperfectly than do something I don’t love perfectly. The key lies in number of iterations. With time, you’ll become better at it, even if it doesn’t come naturally at first.
Lastly, I realized that we need to do things because we love them, not just for secondary reasons. Writing daily or creating a blog can be a driving motive to inspire you to do better things. While the outcome, like instant traffic on your website or an immediate following, is not always under your control, one thing is guaranteed: you will become a better writer through daily practice, have a better understanding of website setup, and be better off than those who only wish to do things and rarely follow through.
all the time i used to read smaller articles or reviews that
as well clear their motive, and that is also happening with this paragraph which
